Onion Ring Crisps

Onion rings are iconic for a reason— that crispy, crunchy exterior hugging a tender, slightly sweet center? Yeahhh, it’s a dangerously delicious combo. They’re quick, easy, and packed with flavor—a crispy, savory, oniony dream that lets you enjoy an old favorite that has clean ingredients. This viral sensation is 5000/10 and absolutely worth the hype.

 

Approximately 12 rings

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, 1/4 inch rounds
  • 1 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • Greek seasoning, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the onions into rings with a knife or use a mandoline. Add an even layer of cheese to the baking sheet followed by the onion slices. Make sure you arrange each onion right next to each other.
  3. Drizzle a tiny bit of olive oil onto each one and season with Greek seasoning.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden! Let them cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Enjoy with homemade ranch, sour cream, a cilantro lime crema, French onion dip, or my homemade tzatziki recipe! The possibilities are endless!
